Medicinal herbs that can rejuvenate facial skin

You can also use medicinal herbs for the skin of the face in their natural form, prepare decoctions, infusions and masks from them at home.

Dandelions

In cosmetology, dandelion has long been used for facial skin in anti-aging procedures. This plant also helps dermatological problems; with its help you can get rid of freckles and whiten your skin. The plant contains rubber material, group vitamins A, B, C, E, PP, organic acids, resins, sterols and saponins.

The most effective cosmetic procedures for facial rejuvenation are those that use masks and cosmetic ice made from dandelion.

  1. Anti-aging mask. To prepare this mask, you need to take dandelion juice in the amount of 5 ml, 1 avocado, 5 grams of starch. You need to squeeze the avocado and then mix all the ingredients together. The resulting mass should be applied to the steamed face, left for 30 minutes, and then rinsed with cold water. The mask can be used on the face 2 times a week. After several times of use, deep and small wrinkles on the skin are noticeably smoothed, and the texture of the face becomes more elastic.
  2. Cosmetic ice. To prepare this product, you need: 10-15 ml of dandelion juice, 50 ml of distilled water, 5 ml of hazelnut oil. All the ingredients need to be mixed together, poured into a mold and put in the refrigerator. You need to wipe your face with the provided cube, it is advisable to do this in the evening, your face skin must first be cleaned of makeup. The procedure must be carried out in 10-day sessions, and the course of treatment should not exceed 3 times a year.

Rosemary

Rosemary can easily replace any lifting agent, because it contains the HSP70 protein, which can slow down the aging process at the cellular level. In addition, the plant contains tannins, fatty acids, vitamins and microelements that can heal and rejuvenate the skin.

Rosemary is most often used in the form of essential oil, which can be purchased at most beauty shops and pharmacies. To prepare cosmetics at home, you need to grow the plant yourself, because in its natural form it very rarely ends up on the shelves of stores and pharmacies.

  1. Rejuvenating mask. To prepare the mask, you need to mash half a banana, then add 50 ml of avocado oil and rosemary infusion or decoction. The amount of decoction or absorption must be calculated, taking into account that the finished mask should have a consistency similar to thick sour cream. This product can be used on the face 2-3 times a week, after which the skin becomes more elastic and wrinkles smooth.
  2. boiled water. To prepare a decoction, you need to take 20 grams of dry rosemary leaves, pour 200 ml of boiling water and place in a water bath for 15-20 minutes. Ready decoction must be filtered before use. Take 50 ml 2 times a day.
  3. Infusion. This product is prepared from 50 grams of plant leaves, which should be poured with a glass of boiling water and infused for 3-4 hours, it is advisable to do this in a thermos or wrap the container with the infusion in something warm. After the specified period, the infusion must be filtered.

Important!Rosemary decoctions and infusions can also be used in the form of compresses or made into cosmetic ice.

Chamomile

Chamomile contains many vitamins, microelements and organic acids that are valuable for the body. All these together help to rejuvenate, moisturize and whiten the skin, making it firmer and more elastic. In cosmetology, the most effective results can be achieved using chamomile decoctions and infusions.

  1. boiled water. To prepare the product, you need to pour dried chamomile flowers - 25 grams with a glass of warm boiled water, and put it in a water bath for half an hour. The finished broth should be filtered and, if necessary, diluted with boiled water. The product should be applied to the face and décolleté area. After use, wrinkles on the face are reduced and smooth.
  2. Infusion. To prepare an infusion of chamomile, you need to pour a spoonful of dried and crushed plants into a glass of boiling water and leave for half an hour. The finished product needs to be filtered and, as in the previous recipe, applied to the skin of the face.

Sage

Using sage for cosmetic purposes will help clean your facial skin and keep it youthful for a long time. The plant contains anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic substances, which is why sage is widely used in cosmetology.

  1. Infusion for the face. Ready infusion of sage can be used as an additive to lotions or tonics, and can also be used in the form of compresses and facial lotions. To prepare sage infusion, you need to pour 3 tablespoons of dry raw material with a glass of boiling water and leave it in a thermos for 2 hours. The resulting infusion should be cooled, filtered, put in the refrigerator and used as needed. You can make cosmetic cubes from this infusion - pour it into a mold and put it in the refrigerator, and wipe your face with it in the morning and evening.
  2. boiled water. Sage decoction effectively affects the facial skin, rejuvenating and refreshing it. To prepare it, pour boiling water over three tablespoons of sage and cook over low heat for another 15 minutes. The resulting product should be cooled, filtered and washed with it once a day.

There are many naturally medicinal plants that can be used effectively for cosmetic purposes. The main thing is to do it correctly so that the plants used are not harmful, but can bring maximum benefits from their use.
